Wendy Aw is a former advertising copywriter who has nearly a decade of experience and in 2021, she made a bold transition into the realm of data science. She encountered a beta version of an AI copywriting tool, and it sparked Wendy's curiosity about the potential of data-driven technologies. She began to explore the field through online courses before committing to a full-time pursuit of data science.

Her learning journey was marked by an approach to acquiring foundational skills in programming and mathematics. She studied in courses that covered Python, Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, and Statistics, gradually rekindling her love for math. Wendy also found solace in online resources like StatQuest, which offered insightful explanations of mathematical concepts relevant to machine learning.

Later Wendy discovered that Python libraries often strayed away from complex mathematical concepts, emphasizing practical implementation over theoretical understanding.
